A neat stainless steel operating table with improved drainage, improved multiple heating; greater versatility and convenience in use; all steel frame. Combining the advantageous features of the Brodie operating table, and modern trends in stainless steel operating furniture, this table will be found ideally suited for all classroom animal work.
Top 51"x 18"x 40" high, made entirely from stainless steel, in two halves sloping towards the center. A small wedge over the whole length separates the two halves. Under the wedge is provided a brass drain pipe, removable and replaceable by sliding IN or OUT. Blood and other fluids flow towards the center of table, from where these drip into the drain pipe, and are carried through an end drain-tube to the receptacle. After operation the whole top can be washed clean, the drain pipe removed, cleaned and replaced.
The stainless top is heated by a set of electric lamps, placed to effect balanced heat dissipation. Tying-up cleats are fitted. Dog holder with its stainless steel upright and universal joint. Two stainless steel uprights slide along slots in the top, and will be found useful for fixing accessories. A stainless steel swing tray is fitted on an upright in one corner of the top and will be found very useful for placing dissecting instruments, accessories etc.
